Abstract
A magyarországi vágóhidakon 88,7 ezer darab szarvasmarhát vágtak le 2023-ban, 9,4 százalékkal kevesebbet, mint az előző évben, sertésből 4 millió 490 ezret vágtak, közel 1 százalékkal kevesebbet (–42 ezer darab), mint 2022-ben. Baromfiból 223,9 millió darabot vágtak 2023-ban, 7,8 százalékkal többet, mint a bázisidőszakban. A levágott baromfi élősúlya összesen 684,6 ezer tonna, vágott súlya (tisztított, bontott súly) 514,8 ezer tonna volt ebben az időszakban. _________________________________________________________ In Hungarian slaughterhouses 88.7 thousand cattle were slaughtered in 2023, which is 9.4 per cent less than in the previous year, and 4 million 490 thousand pigs were slaughtered, nearly 1 per cent less (–42 thousand heads) compared to 2022. In the group of poultry 223.9 million pieces were slaughtered in 2023, 7.8 per cent more than in the base period. The total live weight of slaughtered poultry was 684.6 thousand tons, and the carcass weight was 514.8 thousand tons during this period.
