Abstract

A tanulmány megírásának két alapvető célja volt: egyrészt annak a bemutatása, hogy a főbb állattenyésztési ágazatok (tej, sertés, baromfi, juh), valamint a takarmánytermelés helyzete és piacszabályozása hogyan alakult Romániában az Európai Unióhoz történő csatlakozás éveiben; másrészt annak vizsgálata, hogy a magyar állattenyésztésre milyen hatással lehet Románia uniós tagsága rövid- és középtávon. Románia európai uniós csatlakozása pozitív hatással volt a magyar-román agrárkereskedelem alakulására, hiszen az eddig sem elhanyagolható mennyiségű áruforgalom nőtt a két ország között. Hosszabb távon a KAP által nyújtott lehetőségek és támogatások általában javíthatják a román mezőgazdasági és élelmiszeripari termékek versenyképességét, de számolni kell azzal, hogy az uniós versenytársaknál magasabb költséggel előállított termékek kiszorulhatnak a piacról. Vagyis Románia egyrészt fontos piaca lehet a jövőben a Magyarországon megtermelt mezőgazdasági és élelmiszeripari termékeknek, másrészt bizonyos termékeivel teret hódíthat a magyar piacon. Biztos azonban, hogy agrár-kereskedelmünk Romániával még intenzívebbé válik a jövőben. = The paper has two main goals, on the one hand, to present the development and the market regulation of the main livestock production sectors (milk, pig, poultry, sheep) and feed production in Romania; and, on the other hand, to analyse the impact of the EU membership of Romania on the Hungarian livestock production on the short and medium term. The EU Accession of Romania had a positive effect on the Hungarian-Romanian agricultural trade; the volume of the trade, which was significant also before the Accession, has increased. On the long term the opportunities and the subsidies could in general improve the competitiveness of the Romanian agricultural and food products, however, it has to be taken into account that due to the high Romanian production costs the competitors could also crowd out the Romanian products from the market. This means that in the future, on the one hand, Romania could become an important market for the Hungarian agricultural and food industrial products but, on the other hand, Romania could also penetrate with certain products into the Hungarian market. It is obvious, however, that the Hungarian-Romania agricultural trade will become more intensive in the future.
