Abstract
A magyarországi vágóhidakon 52,5 ezer darab szarvasmarhát vágtak le 2026 első fél évében, 4,4 százalékkal többet, mint az előző év azonos időszakában. Sertésből 2 millió 450 ezret vágtak, 1,4 százalékkal többet (+33 ezer darab), mint 2025. január–júniusban. Baromfiból közel 134 millió darab került a vágóhidakra 2026 első fél évében, ami 17,9 százalékkal haladta meg a bázisidőszak értékét. A levágott baromfi élősúlya összesen 417 ezer tonna, vágott súlya (tisztított, bontott súly) 313 ezer tonna volt ebben az időszakban. ________________________________________________________ In Hungarian slaughterhouses 52.5 thousand cattle were slaughtered in the first half of 2026, which is 4.4 per cent more than in the same period of the previous year. Additionally, 2 million 450 thousand pigs were slaughtered, representing a 1.4 per cent increase (+33 thousand head) compared to January–June 2025. In the case of poultry nearly 134 million head were slaughtered in the first half of 2026, which is 17.9 per cent more than in the base period. The total live weight of slaughtered poultry was 417 thousand tonnes, and the carcass weight was 313 thousand tonnes during this period.
