Abstract
A magyarországi vágóhidakon 101,6 ezer darab szarvasmarhát vágtak le 2025-ben, 19,7 százalékkal többet, mint az előző évben, sertésből 4 millió 955 ezret vágtak, 3,6 százalékkal többet (+173 ezer darab), mint 2024-ben. Baromfiból 242,6 millió darab került a vágóhidakra 2025-ben, ami 2,3 százalékkal meghaladta a bázisidőszak értékét. A levágott baromfi élősúlya összesen 748 ezer tonna, vágott súlya (tisztított, bontott súly) 562 ezer tonna volt ebben az időszakban. _______________________________________________ In Hungarian slaughterhouses 101.6 thousand cattle were slaughtered in 2025, which is 19.7 per cent more than in the previous year. Additionally, 4.955 million pigs were slaughtered, which is 3.6 per cent more (+173 thousand head) compared to 2024. In the case of poultry 242.6 million heads were slaughtered in 2025, which is 2.3 per cent more than in the base period. The total live weight of slaughtered poultry was 748 thousand tonnes, and the carcass weight was 562 thousand tonnes during this period.
