Abstract

A magyarországi vágóhidakon 75,9 ezer darab szarvasmarhát vágtak le 2025 első három negyedévében, 23,4 százalékkal többet, mint az előző év azonos időszakában, sertésből 3 millió 639 ezret vágtak, 3,8 százalékkal többet (+132 ezer darab), mint 2024. január–szeptemberben. Baromfiból 177,5 millió darab került a vágóhidakra 2025 első három negyedévében, ami 1,4 százalékkal kevesebb, mint a bázisidőszak értéke. A levágott baromfi élősúlya összesen 545 ezer tonna, vágott súlya (tisztított, bontott súly) 410 ezer tonna volt ebben az időszakban. _____________________________________________________ In Hungarian slaughterhouses 75.9 thousand cattle were slaughtered in the first three quarters of 2025, which is 23.4 per cent more than in the same period of the previous year. Additionally, 3.639 million pigs were slaughtered, which is 3.8 per cent more (+132 thousand head) compared to January–September 2024. In the case of poultry 177.5 million heads were slaughtered in the first three quarters of 2025, which is 1.4 per cent less than in the base period. The total live weight of slaughtered poultry was 545 thousand tonnes, and the carcass weight was 410 thousand tonnes during this period.
