Abstract
A magyarországi vágóhidakon 50,3 ezer darab szarvasmarhát vágtak le 2025 első fél évében, 26,1 százalékkal többet, mint az előző év azonos időszakában, sertésből 2 millió 417 ezret vágtak, 3,6 százalékkal többet (+85 ezer darab), mint 2024. január–júniusban. Baromfiból 113,7 millió darab került a vágóhidakra 2025 első fél évében, ami 4,1 százalékkal kevesebb, mint a bázisidőszak értéke. A levágott baromfi élősúlya összesen 349 ezer tonna, vágott súlya (tisztított, bontott súly) 262 ezer tonna volt ebben az időszakban. __________________________________ In Hungarian slaughterhouses 50.3 thousand cattle were slaughtered in the first half of 2025, which is 26.1 per cent more than in the same period of the previous year. Additionally, 2.417 million pigs were slaughtered, which is 3.6 per cent more (+85 thousand head) compared to January–June 2024. In the case of poultry 113.7 million heads were slaughtered in the first half of 2025, which is 4.1 per cent less than in the base period. The total live weight of slaughtered poultry was 349 thousand tonnes, and the carcass weight was 262 thousand tonnes during this period.
